The Department of Sociology invites applications for a tenure-track position in Sociology at the rank of Assistant Professor to begin fall semester 2010. Field open. We are seeking candidates who can contribute in areas other than our existing strengths in stratification, race and ethnicity, family, theory, and deviance. Applicants should have demonstrated excellence in teaching, a commitment to working with academically-oriented undergraduates, and an active research agenda.
