Post Doctoral Research Fellow: 12 month limited term position in the Department of Human Development and Family Studies at Auburn University immediately available. The Research Fellow will work with the Principal Investigators across two federally-funded research projects. The studies focus on relationship dynamics among a diverse sample of nonmarried parents, married couples, and youth. The focus of the postdoctoral research work will be the utilization of advanced statistical skills for the preparation of reports and manuscripts. Work will also include involvement with a mixed method study of ethnic minority stepfamily couples and adolescents. Minimum qualifications require a Ph.D. in Human Development and Family Studies or a closely related field, as well as advanced statistical skills and writing skills. ABD applicants will be accepted if all requirements for degree have been completed. Expertise with hierarchical linear modeling, latent growth modeling, and structural equation modeling is required. Experience with dyadic data analyses and qualitative coding methods is desirable. Knowledge of relationship and marriage research and/or applied or prevention research experience is desirable. The selected candidate must be eligible to work in the US at the time of employment and continue working legally for the proposed duration of the appointment and must be able to communicate effectively in the English language. Renewal of employment will depend upon satisfactory performance in the position and availability of funding.
