just a warning for those applying to Rider University- I mailed in an application and then received an email saying that all applicants have to fill out their online application, so I had to re-apply.
Their online application only has 1 spot for supplemental materials, which is annoying becuase they ask for "other supporting documents (e.g. scholarly papers, evidence of teaching effectiveness, course syllabi)" so I had to choose only 1.
I also don't get why they would put a mailing address in their job ad if they don't accept mailed-in applications. Oh well...

On Rider's website it says that you can upload the cv and cover letter to their online system. Other supplemental materials have to be mailed to the address on the announcement. There is a different wording in the announcement in this board compared to Rider's site. So make sure you go to the employment opportunities area of Rider's website. (you can send more than one supporting document, only that by regular mail). www.rider.edu/hr

From the Rider application:
"If employed, I understand that I have been hired at the will of the employer and my employment may be terminated at any time, with or without cause and with or without notice, except as may be provided under an applicable collective bargaining agreement."
Is this unusual?

Most (if not all?) states have at-will termination. You can be legally fired at any time for any reason, as long as it's not due to discrimination (e.g. because of your race, gender, etc.).
