Applications for the 2010-1022 Beyster Fellowship to research employee ownership, profit sharing, broad-based stock options and related issues
of economic democracy? and democratic capitalism and corporate governance in the corporation and society in the United States are being accepted. The fellowship will be awarded to a Phd. candidate, a post-doctoral scholar, or a Visiting Professor.
Researchers in economic sociology, social organizations, social history, and work and labor markets, and other areas of sociology are welcome. The Fellows may be supported at their home institution or may be in residence at Rutgers University with the period and length of residency varying between July 1, 2010 and June 30, 2011. The fellowship has a stipend of $25,000. that can be used for research, travel, or living expenses. Submit the following information by email or letter by December 31, 2009: 1) A statement of no more than 1500 words describing their proposed research project including its current status and broader significance; 2) A curriculum vitae; 3) Three letters of reference (included in sealed envelopes or submitted separately by email to beysterfellowships@smlr.rutgers.edu).
