Instructor of Sociology
Saint Michael’s College in the Burlington area of Vermont invites applications for an Instructor of Sociology for the 2009-10 academic year. Teaching load will be 24 credit hours for the year, which must include two sections of Sociological Theory (4 credits each), two sections of Introduction to Sociology (3 credits each), plus an additional 10 credit hours in the candidate’s field of specialization. Preference will be given to candidates who will have the Ph.D. in hand by August, 2009.
Applicants should demonstrate a commitment to undergraduate teaching and be supportive of the mission of this Catholic, residential, liberal arts college with an enrollment of 2000 students.
